The Parish of St. Margaret demonstrates courageous witness in the world and committed service in the name of Christ. Parishioners volunteer in many community organizations; support national, international, and local agencies that serve the needs of diverse peoples; contribute generously to the diocesan Faith Works campaign and to local charities; and sponsor the following outreach ministries:

• Out of the Cold: a ministry that provides a hot meal and emergency overnight accommodations to people who are homeless or hungry. Monday evenings at 6:00 PM. from November until April.
• Monthly Community Dinner: a free hot meal with great hospitality and fellowship. Please see our Coming Events page for dates and times.
• Annual "Among Friends" Christmas Dinner: served at 12 noon on Christmas Day has provided a free Christmas dinner and all the fixings for the past 17 years to needy and lonely members of our commmunity.  Gifts are provided for all those present through the generosity of local churches and businesses.
